Redeem Your Product Key
Unlock a seamless Microsoft software experience with our step-by-step guide. Installation and activation may seem straightforward, but overlooking a step can lead to complications. Follow our instructions meticulously for trouble-free operation of your applications.
Step 1: Clear existing Office applications
Before installing your new Office application, make sure to remove any existing Office applications from your computer. This is important to prevent any conflicts that may interfere with activation.
- Uninstall any previous Office versions.
- Don’t forget to remove OneDrive and other Office-related applications.
- The deletion steps here are done on a Windows device. If you are using a Mac device, you can follow the steps below.
1. Go to your computer’s settings.
2. Navigate to the “Apps” section.
3. Locate and uninstall all old Microsoft Office versions.
Once you’ve confirmed that no Office applications remain on your system, you’re ready to set up your new Office.
Step 2: Visit the Redemption Portal
Navigate to Setup.office.com to begin the redemption process. Sign in with your existing Microsoft account. If you don’t have one, easily create a new account to proceed.
Step 3: Enter Product Key and Country
Input your product key and select your country. Click ‘Next’ to continue. Review and confirm your information for accuracy.
Click on ‘Continue’ to proceed to the Service and Subscription section.
Step 4: Select Your Product
See your redeemed product by going to the Services and Subscription.
Locate your purchased product under the “Products You Have Purchased” section and click on ‘Install.’
Choose your preferred language and Office version. The default Office version is recommended for most users.
Click on ‘Install’ to begin the installation process.
